TOUR DETAILS:

This intermediate tour is designed for those with an adventurous spirit and an above-level physical fitness. You will be shuttled to the Eastern tip of Tongatapu where our tour begins with breakfast on the beach at Whitehouse Point (End of Talafoʻou Beach, Eastern Tongatapu). As you enjoy your breakfast, we conduct a brief overview of our fun itinerary for the day, discuss safety, answer any questions and prepare the kayaks for launch. We then set off on a one-hour paddle through beautiful crystal clear waters inhabited by sea turtles, dolphins and humpback whales. After crossing the ancient guarded entrance to the lagoon, we arrive at Makahaʻa Island where you can enjoy your time walking around and exploring while having a beverage break. Makahaʻa Island is owned by Princess Pilolevu and has a small shellfish processing operation on part of the island. We then paddle for 30 minutes over to Pangaimotu Island Resort where we have lunch at their waterfront restaurant. After lunch there is ample time to snorkel next to the shipwreck, explore the island, or simply relax in this beautiful unspoilt setting. After spending 2 ½ hours on Pangaimotu Island, we end our day with a final 30 minute paddle back to our landing spot in Papiloa (Nukuʻalofa) where you are then returned back to your accommodation.
